holding the Kids Happy on a Luxury Holiday in Spain

There's no doubt that the Spanish love their culture, and many tailor-made holidays in Spain select to focus on the impressive art and remarkable architecture, but for those with families this isn't all the time ideal. While some of the cultural attractions will motion to children and be educational, most kids will want some excitement and thrills from their trip, so you need to ensure your luxury holiday in Spain has variety.

The good news is that a luxury holiday in Spain can be tailor-made to motion to both cultural grown ups and children who want a little more excitement. The country is host to some perfect theme parks, and here are the more memorable ones for you:

PortAventura

PortAventura is perhaps the most notable theme park in Spain. House holiday makers often visit here, and it's no surprise when you reconsider exactly how much the park offers visitors. Just an hour outside of Barcelona, it was built by Universal, the Tussauds group - who were also responsible for the legendary Alton Towers in the Uk - and Anheuser-Bushe, so there is some good patrimony there!

The park itself is divided into 5 themed regions, each with its own unique style and feel. There are many superb rides which are well worth the queuing time, but amongst the best known are Dragon Khan (an imposing roller coaster dating back from when the park was first opened) and Furius Baco. When the latter opened last year, it was the fastest roller coaster in Europe hitting a speed of 83.9 miles per hour!

Terra Mittica

While most luxury holidays in Spain won't take you towards Benidorm where this theme park is based, it's worth going a little out of your way. Terra Mitica is a park themed on 5 dissimilar regions: Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia and the Greek Islands. Now in its 8th year, the park offers a great choice of rides and live shows guaranteed to keep the children happy. perhaps the most impressive thing about the theme park is that it offers something for all ages - there are even smaller replicas of the adult rides for children too young (or too fearful!) to try them!

Isla Magica

This theme park's slogan, "Diversión sin límites" ("fun without limits") is very fitting, and this fine mixture of rides, live acts and cinematic shows is a great choice for House holidays in Spain, especially if you're staying colse to the Sevilla area. Much like the other theme parks mentioned above, Isla Magica is divided up into zones: the Indies, Americas' Gatweay, Amazonia, The Pirates' Den, The Font of Youth and El Dorado. Each zone has its own brand of themed shows and rides which literally bring the character of the place to life.

Parque Warner

Based in Madrid, Parque Warner will be customary to whatever who has been to a Warner Bros. Themed park in the past. Here you'll find all kinds of attractions designed colse to Warner's films. Batman: The escape and The Riddler's Revenge will have a customary theme to fans of the films and comic books, as will Superman: The Ride. It may not have quite the thorough of rides that some of the others here, but the licensing is perfect for the film-loving kids, and the suitable location means that Madrid holidaymakers with children should absolutely reconsider it.

When planning a luxury holiday in Spain, it would be amiss to rule out the fine art and culture, but if travelling with children be sure to furnish them with some of the thrills and spills that only a theme park can provide. A tailor-made holiday in Spain can motion to people of all ages, so make sure yours has the variety!

The Power Of Media

The media is responsible for both- reflecting values of a society and creating new ones to a good extent. 'The pen is mightier than the sword' goes an old proverb. It has been proved over and over again since the arrival of writing and amelioration of media. Media today consists of books, television, movies, music, internet, radio, magazines, newspapers etc. Each of them have evolved as a fine medium in their own right.

Values lie at the core of the society. They evolve and become a part of the society over the years. Both tradition and modernization lead to the amelioration of values. Values change over time. What was carefully taboo 20 years back is a way of life today. Thats how media tends to make the world. Media is far-reaching. Hollywood stars have mass fan following in countries and places about which even the stars won't have heard about. With the internet as goes the cliche- the world has become a smaller place. You can know anyone about everything on the net, such is its power and reach. It reflects what citizen in fact are and what they in fact think. No hypocrisy here.

The United States has always been a fore-runner, be it movies, fashion or music. What the Us does is followed by the rest. Jeans and fast-food, traditional products of the Us are now as well-known to a Chinese as to an Indian. The newly developing nations adopted values and traditions created by the west. Tv shows are now telecast all over, thanks to satellites. So the American way of life is copied in Japan. So do these citizen lose their traditional tradition and values. To an extent, yes but mostly the case is- the traditional values are retained while newer values and trends keep on enhancing the culture. So gently a new way of life develops- no wonder parents often say, 'this wasn't the case in our time'.

The Power Of Media

Books reflect the mind of an intellectual. They give a deep understanding to the way a man thinks. Books are very efficient media to spread thoughts and values. Since a book is read, shared and preserved over the years unlike a Tv show. Talking of Tv shows, they have created new milestones. The show 'Who wants to be a millionaire' revived the age old human greed for wealth and popularity. Now everybody wanted to be instant millionaires. Hard work- who wants to do it.

Blockbuster reality shows like Survivor and Temptation Island drove home the same points. anyone the citizen pretend to be- their basic cravings have and will remain the same. And this was true for everybody everywhere. New values weren't created, maybe brought out of the closet again. But greed and lust shown in these shows reflect the coarse man on the streets.

Music and Internet are carefully perfect media for spreading one's own beliefs, values etc. Rock stars have masses emulating them. Wearing T-shirts worshiping Satan is a part of the rock culture. But many of these same citizen do go to church on Sundays. Talking less about the internet is better. Instead challenging on to magazines and newspapers. They print to earn. So scandals are moneyspinners for them and not a challenge of morals and righteousness for the society. It is bad when these media take a biased idea on an issue and publicise the same. Its the commoners who take a wrong side because of wrong ethics.

Media makes or breaks people, events, anything. Values get created, diffused in the society. Something thats a way of life for one man becomes a new value for another, thanks to media.
